Update!

Goal: lose 20 by Christmas!
So far: lost 1-3
Left to go: 17-19 more!

Ok. Time for my weekly progress report. If you guys read a few posts back, you know I'm trying to get skinny again. So far, boot camp is working. I definitely notice more muscle tone, and I feel a lot stronger and have way more stamina than I did 2.5 weeks ago. I'm sore as hell, but I'm glad Renee (trainer) is making me work for it.

As for the getting skinny part, it will come. Yesterday the bathroom scale said I had dropped 3 pounds, but since then the mr. scale hasn't been so nice. Now it's saying no more than 1 pound. Yes, I realize that weight fluctuates throughout the day, but I want fluctuation in the other direction. That's ok. First you have to build some muscle, then lose a few inches, then notice the weight loss. I know. It's a process.

My diet has been going really well! It hasn't been hard at all to give up cokes or red meat. But since I am being honest, I did cheat. Twice. Last week I had a Diet Dr. Pepper (I had a craving) and today we had cheese pizza for lunch (co-worker's b-day). I figure that's pretty awesome though. I'm proud of me:) Tune in next Tuesday for Update #2!
